East Gymnastics has a fabulous team of qualified coaches who are all passionate about gymnastics, coaching, children and having fun. Between us we have vast experience in gymnastics (of course), dance, cheerleading, acrobatics, drama, circus, capoeira, yoga and trampolining.

All coaches have passed their NSW working with children check.

Anthony joined East Gymnastics as our new Manager in 2017. After a break from gymnastics to run his family’s restaurant, he is excited to be back in the sporting world where can use his technical gymnastics knowledge combined with his managerial experience. In his youth he was a Level 9 National gymnastics champion and was also on the National diving team. He has many years of experience coaching gymnastics, acrobatics, strength and conditioning, and has completed various Sports and Management Degrees and Diplomas.

Darren has had a long affiliation with gymnastics, both as a Level 9 competitive gymnast and as a coach. To our delight, he has just re-joined the East Gymnastics team, coaching a boy’s class and adults class.

She holds a current Gymnastics Australia accreditation and is a wonderful addition to our team, bringing her passion for the sport and dedication to bringing out the best in every gymnast.

Kindergym and Recreation coach

Originally from Hertfordshire in the UK, Olivia was a competitive gymnast up to age 11 before moving onto competitive athletics. Her love of gymnastics continued and she competed for Nottingham University. After graduation she spent 2 years working at an advertising agency but missed the fun and team spirit of sport. She started coaching gymnastics and loved it so much she been coaching ever since. She finds the most rewarding part of the job is watching the kids grow in confidence and exceeding their own expectations.

Recreation coach

Harriet was a competitive gymnast in New Zealand from age 7. After moving to England, Harriet competed for the Loughborough University gymnastics team before graduating with a degree in mathematics. She moved to Sydney in 2016 to further her banking career and soon discovered East Gymnastics. Harriet has previously coached recreational gymnastics and is very excited to be back in the gym coaching.

Natalie was a gymnast from age 5-16 and spent her childhood upside down. When she wanted to send her own children (now age 12 and 10) to gymnastics classes she realised there was a gap in the Eastern Suburbs for high quality recreational gymnastics. She quickly left her career in Management Consulting/Marketing Strategy and launched East Gymnastics! Natalie became an accredited gymnastics coach but mostly stays behind the scenes supporting her wonderful team.

We are always interested in hearing from great coaches. Please send your CV to Anthony at info@eastgymnastics.com.au or phone us on 0431 640 480.
